Details of the Parmesan Highway Pipeline Project:

Vital Statistics:

As mentioned in the project proposal, the length of the pipeline built in this project will approximately be around 692km and it will have the diameter of around 42inches. The Kinder Morgan is evaluating the economic and hydraulic feasibility of this kind of a massive pipeline for keeping it under the proposed budget.

Route Plan of the Pipelines:

The proposed pipeline will deliver natural gas from the Permian Basin to the Katy and the Agua Dulce market hubs. It will also transport gas to various headers such as the Coastal Bend and Kinder Morgan Tejas headers connected to the Freeport LNG export facility and the Cheniere header connected to the Cheniere Corpus Christi LNG export facility.

The pipeline will also connect some pre-existing natural gas pipelines which includes Texas Gulf Coast pipelines and other premiere pipelines that deliver natural gas throughout Mexico. These pipeline routes include Monterrey Pipeline, Kinder Morgan’s Border Pipeline, Valley Crossing and NET Mexico lines.

The demand and supply of natural gas is required to be stabilized across the United States of America. In this aspect, the Parmesan Project can play a major role as it not only creates new supply routes and increased efficiency of transporting gas, it also connects the old lines which creates an integrated transport system through Texas. This is the reason why it  is being featured in  numerous pipeline news Texas related articles and reports.
